Second Opinions

The dental office can be a nerve-racking place. Visiting the dentist is essential for staying healthy and keeping your teeth. If you are comfortable with your dentist and their staff, the experience is easier. But what if you have concerns regarding the recommended treatment? If you have dental health problems that require major dental work, you may benefit from a second opinion. Dr. Jafarifar would be happy to help you. You are never wrong in getting a second opinion. This is sometimes the most important decision a person can make. Second opinions may confirm, refute, or clarify the situation.

Reasons for getting a Second Opinion:

  • You are concerned about the cost.

  • You are unsure if the treatment is necessary.

  • You are not comfortable with your current dentist.

  • A major problem has been diagnosed.

  • You have had work done that has not fixed your problem.

Benefits of Getting a Second Opinion with Dr. Jafarifar

All dentists have different backgrounds, training, and experiences. They see different sets of dental problems in their practices. Dr. Jafarifar has more than ten years of experience in the field of dentistry, and her goal is to provide the best treatment that fits your needs. She will take the time to listen to your concerns and will discuss with you all the options for treatment. This way, you can make an informed decision about the treatment you choose to receive.

What to expect during your visit with Dr. Jafarifar at our Las Vegas office for a second opinion:

If recent x-rays have been taken, request a copy to take with you to Dr. Jafarifar. A copy of your treatment plan will also be helpful. You may be required to sign a release for your x-rays and records. The American Dental Association Principles of Ethics and Code of Professional Conduct ensure your right to this information. The second opinion is based on the quality of the information gathered. Depending on the quality of the x-rays you provide, you may or may not need to take a new set of x-rays with us. Once Dr. Jafarifar examines the x-rays and the treatment plan given to you she will do a thorough visual exam and will determine if the treatment plan is accurate or it needs to be changed.

Dr. Jafarifar is committed to continuing her education and utilizing the latest methods and technology in dentistry. She will spend the needed time to make sure your questions are answered to your satisfaction. If you would like to consult with Dr. Jafarifar please feel free to contact us for an appointment.
